Eight nations exist in the known world. Each ruled by a Noble House. Over time, two of those nations would grow stronger than all the other nations around them.
A great expanse of ocean, known as the Halvian Sea, was all that separated the two nations from one another. As their power and influence grew past their shores, many felt it would only be a matter of time before the nations of Wolfenstaad and Obsidsinoir crossed paths.
However, as centuries passed, many believed that time would never come, as both nations seemed content with the hegemony they held on their sides of the sea.
But then, one year after a failed insurrection, a great airship from one nation would cross the great sea, and journey to the capital of the other. But as it neared, it was revealed that its people had not crossed the sea to challenge the other’s rule. They had been invited. Invited to sign a treaty. One that could forever reshape the balance of power on both sides of the sea…
